Questions about AoS commissions
How are large monsters and centrepieces priced?
We assess size, assembly, surface variety, subassemblies, scenic base work and requested finish. The quote is based on the actual kit rather than a universal monster rate.
Can you develop a palette from artwork or lore?
Yes. Reference art, faction lore and existing units can guide the palette. We translate them into practical miniature colours and confirm the direction before detailed production.
Can scenic basing be part of the commission?
Yes. Ground texture, ruins, vegetation, snow, water effects and display composition can be included when materials and transport requirements are agreed in the quote.
Can later units match an earlier commission?
Yes. Clear photographs and retained colour notes help us continue a palette. Natural hand-painted variation remains possible, but the force will share the same visual recipe.
Does the catalogue price include the official model kit?
Catalogue prices explicitly marked as kit included cover the corresponding official kit during the current offer. Alternative kits and additional scenic work are quoted separately.
How long does an AoS project take?
Timing depends on model count, complexity, sourcing, basing and the active queue. The quote gives a realistic estimate rather than a fixed promise for every project.
How are fragile fantasy models packed?
We assess protruding weapons, wings and scenic elements individually. Fragile or oversized pieces may use custom supports or a separately quoted shipping method.
