This is the seventh Ushoran, Mortarch of Delusion painted by Maxon Casting. Each commission builds on the last — this piece represents our current peak for Flesh-eater Courts characters, achieving collector and competition-ready standards. The model showcases mature organic texture painting, exhibition-level TMM metalwork, and a fully integrated atmospheric display base.
Organic Texture — Green-Blue Skin Masterclass
The skin transitions from bright green highlights to deep blue-purple shadows through silky smooth gradients. The flesh textures and subtle gloss effects capture the grotesque, otherworldly tension of the Mortarch. The fur cloak features brown-to-purple gradients with near-photorealistic hair texture — the tattered edges and weathering contribute to a palpable sense of dark ritual and decay.
TMM Metalwork — Copper-Gold at Exhibition Level
Armor and weaponry use mature True Metallic Metal (TMM) with razor-sharp highlights and deep, layered shadows. Every skull ornament, gemstone, and chain link is painted with zero overspill. The scepter, crown, and armor plates direct light from a unified source — the barbaric nobility of the Mortarch is perfectly rendered.
Atmospheric Display Base — The Soul of the Piece
Ghostly green spirit-flame effects, candlelight, scattered bones, and ruined stonework create the dark ritual atmosphere central to Ushoran’s character. The consistent OSL glow on surrounding surfaces demonstrates unified light logic from model to base — a hallmark of competition-grade work.
